I began exploring yoga in my early 20s as a form of passive exercise to develop flexibility. I realised that yoga required so much more strength than I thought and that it allowed me to express a physicality I hadn’t been able to tap into with other workouts and exercises.

Over the years as I deepened my practice and felt I had reached a plateau I committed to doing my yoga teacher training to further understand the philosophies underpinning yoga. That interest, coupled with my corporate life of facilitation and change management led me down the path of teaching.

Sharing space as well as knowledge grew into a passion which in time expanded beyond yoga. Exploring other forms of group fitness as well as getting my qualifications as a personal trainer allowed me to connect with a wide range of people and leverage all these different disciplines and modalities. In my corporate life I’ve been involved in both Wellbeing and Mental Health support groups but also amongst steering committees designed to challenge and advise the corporate structures and their commitment to workplace wellbeing.

As I begin to shift away from the corporate world and find a rhythm and balance within the fitness industry, I’m connecting with individuals from all backgrounds and with different goals to enable lasting change and improve their overall physical and mental health.

I love working with clients to build healthy movement habits. This includes developing strength and building muscle, improving mobility and flexibility, and learning new skills and movement patterns.

I’m not interested in quick fixes and hacks. I want my clients to develop sustainable habits which create a lifetime of self-care including physical and mental well-being and health.

Weight training in my early 20’s introduced me to the world of fitness. Showing up for myself, developing both physical and mental strength and seeing growth and progress was highly motivating.

In my late 20’s, I discovered yoga while at acting school. Acting taught me the powerful relationship between body, mind and breath and yoga allowed me to explore this further. Yoga not only improved my mobility and flexibility, but it gave me a lens to understand myself and offered tools to manage stress and support my wellbeing.

Realising the corporate world wasn’t for me, I built a career in the health and wellbeing sector to share my knowledge and passion. I’m here to create a supportive and accessible environment for clients, member and class participants to learn, grow and thrive.
